Tansy Flower
Tansy fights parasites, repels flies, mosquitoes and ticks. I was used by our great grandmothers and grandmothers.
Health use: It helps with rheumatic pains and stretched tendons. It is often used against lice and scabies. Tansy extracts have anthelmintic, antifungal, antiviral, antibacterial and protozoanic effects. FOR EXTERNAL USE ONLY. It is also used to repel flies, mosquitoes, ants, aphids and ticks due to its characteristic smell. The plant should be brewed and then rubbed with the skin.
Other use: Dried tansy herb can be hung in wardrobes to scare away moths and bed bugs.
How to brew tansy flower?
Put 1,5 a teaspoon of tansy flowers into 250 ml of hot water, cover and leave for 15 minutes. Cool it down and then use it.
