Thanks to this, the linden has diuretic properties with a slightly antispasmodic effect, stimulating the secretion of gastric juices and increasing the flow of bile into the duodenum. However, it is most often used as a home remedy for colds. The mucous compounds it contains have a protective, coating and softening effect.

Thanks to this, the lime relieves cough, sore throat and hoarseness. Therefore, infusions of linden flowers are used as an auxiliary, mild diaphoretic for feverish conditions in some infectious diseases, such as angina, influenza, pharyngitis, bronchitis and the common cold.

How to make a Linden Flower Tea?

Put 3 teaspoons of Linden Flowers and leaves into 250 ml of hot water, cover and leave for 10 minutes. You can add some sugar or honey.
