Butterfly Pea Flower
Butterfly-Pea Flower tea commonly known as Blue Tea is a caffeine-free herbal tea, or tisane, beverage made from a decoction or infusion of the flower petals or even whole flower of the Clitoria ternatea plant. Clitoria ternatea is also known as butterfly-pea, blue-pea, Aprajita, Cordofan pea, Blue Tea Flowers or Asian pigeonwings.
Health benefits: Butterfly Pea Tea has a range of amazing properties. It is characterized by the fact that it delays the aging process, improves hair and skin and nails. In addition, it has anti-inflammatory, antipyretic and even anti-depressant properties, because it helps fight stress and anxiety. It can be used for children.
Other use: The Butterfly-Pea Flower can be used in the bath as soap and often used for their decorative element in crafts such as candles, potpourri and dye.
How to make an Butterfly-Pea Flower Tea?
Put 3 flowers into 250 ml of hot water, cover and leave for 10 minutes. It tastes great both hot and cold, you can also enrich the drink with various natural additives, as well as add Acacia Flowers, e.g. to white or green tea.

This tea has a beautiful colour dark blue but taste is like a pea tea. I've tried with lemon juice and sugar to taste better but still pea tea.
